Bestowal dialogue
River Hobbit:
- 'Hullo, <name>! I'm sorry to bother you during your visit, but I heard that you met some of the Eagles in your adventures. Is that true?!'
- You tell Hubo that you have met a few of the Eagles throughout your various adventures.
- 'Oh my, I'm quite excited to hear that!
- 'I'm not sure if you remember, but I have the Eagles to thank for my very life. When I was but a small baby, I crawled away from Grandmother Maddy in the mountain meadows. There, a ferocious wolf found me! Thankfully, before it could eat me an Eagle came swooping down and saved me! Since then, I knew I had to repay the Eagles however I could. Grandmother Maddy said she'd heard tales of birds collecting shiny trinkets, so I learned to mine the mountainside for gems which I smooth down into pretty trinkets for the Eagles. Since then, a few of us have even made the tributes together!
- 'I thought you'd like to help since you know the Eagles so well!'
Other races:
- 'Hullo, stranger! I am Húbald Túcca, but you may call me Hubo. Oh, you tried my pipe weed? Pretty good, right? I wanted to speak with you because I heard that you know one of the Eagles.'
- You explain that you have met a few of the Eagles throughout your various adventures.

- 'I had hoped that your path would one day lead you home to the lands of the Holbytlan, and here you are at last. You have seen the way of the world beyond Misthallow, as others of your kind have, at times, peered beyond the bounds of their own lands. It is a proud, but rare, tradition that you have followed, friend.
- 'To speak of other traditions, you have again taken part in one of your folk's many tribute rituals. It is, as always, a kind gesture and Húbald's efforts do not go unnoticed. Although the Eagles do not seek for trinkets, these tributes serve as welcome symbols of the enduring peace between us and of the faith those of the Holbytlan put in us to protect them from the perils of Middle-earth.
- 'We alone cannot protect them, though. Do not misunderstand me; I would not have you dissuade Húbald in his beliefs—they are dear to him. Like your distant kin in the lands of the Shire, the Holbytlan are a happy and peaceful folk, but there is courage far beyond their size in each of their hearts, but it is one that must be found or called upon in times of need.
- 'You have shown them where it can be found, <name>. Let us hope that if danger should ever come to Lyndelby, the Holbytlan need not look to the Eagles. or even to you, to protect them, but to themselves!'
Other races:
- Landroval: 'There is no need for formalities, <name>.
- 'I did not expect you to journey to the holbytlan, yet here you are. It seems you have taken part in their tribute ritual. I do not have the heart to tell them that Eagles do not seek out trinkets of any sort. However, we have found these trinkets make great weapons when dropped at height upon our enemies. Now, do not mention this to the holbytlan. They are a happy and peaceful folk. Let us keep it that way, <name>.'

- 'If it were not for you taking time out of your visit to Lyndelby to help me to prepare the tribute, I don't think this would have ever happened!'
Other races:
- Húbald Túcca: 'Were you talking to that Eagle?! How very exciting! I saw the whole thing from afar. I am sure they will love the trinkets we crafted for them!'
